Originally from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Kirra relocated to the Northern Rivers in 2022 after completing her Bachelor of Social Science and Criminology at Macquarie University.
In June 2025, Kirra joined Bourke Legal’s Ballina Office with two years’ experience as a Legal Secretary, and she now works closely with Brendan Bourke in the firm’s police team.
Kirra’s passion for Law started in High School whilst undertaking Legal Studies and participating in Mock Trials. Kirra takes pride in her attention to detail and her commitment to supporting clients through each stage of the legal process. She is passionate about pursuing a career that provides access to justice and as a result, commenced her Juris Doctor (JD) at Macquarie University in 2024.
Outside of the office, you will find Kirra spending quality time with her partner and family, at the beach with her dog, or studying.
